This IFE-approved 3.5 day course has been developed for delegates who do not have a background in fire safety. It is therefore a useful starting point to the basic principles of fire safety.  Topics covered include the principles of means of escape and fire alarm systems. It is delivered over 3.5 days and includes an examination on the fourth day.  Generally, delegates would undertake this course and undertake the fire risk assessment course at a later date.

We sometimes combine the Level 1 course with the standard fire risk assessment course, making a comprehensive five day course. This is a relatively intensive five day course, with two course examinations on a further (sixth) day. Please contact us for further details about delivering these courses in-house.
